Keep your shoulders relaxed while typing at the keyboard.Bend your elbow at a comfortable angle between 90 and 120 degrees. The chair should support your lower back. If it does not, place a small pillow between your back and the chair.Adjust your chair so that your feet rest firmly on the floor and the seat does not press against your calves. Use a footrest if your feet do not rest comfortably on the floor. Leave enough room to move your feet back and forth.Knees should rest at a comfortable angle between 90 and 120 degrees. The chair should not press into the back of the knees.Keep your wrists in a straight line with your arms. Avoid bending too far to the left, right, or up and down. A wrist rest may help to keep your wrists supported in the correct position.Place your mouse at the same level as your keyboard, within easy reach. Use arm motions and not wrist motions to move the mouse.Keep your wrists straight, and type with a light touch. Avoid resting on your wrists.Place the monitor about an arm's length away and directly in front of you, with the top just below eye level.
